Well done Loadof, different times hah, First one wins but I like both
It's great that one can convert older film negative or slide at home.

Latest rumours that Ricoh will release a GR monochrome, before they're new Colour version GR iv.
Maybe in less than six months time. I presume it will be the same crop sensor from the Kiii monochrome inside ?
Street photographers will love this, a Leica killer stealth pocketable.

I purchased the K70 from new as it was on sale for £350.
I wanted the KP but it was just beyond my reach price wise at the time.
I researched heavily about both cameras and found the following.
The K70 has an excellent crop sensor that was developed independently, but the KP crop sensor was a development from the Pentax K1 original sensor team. So hence that hint magic for the KP.
I have gone on too acquire a FF K1ii since and the resolution is indeed a step up from the K70 but cannot speak for the KP
Hope this helps, regards Flan

Loadof, don't worry just enter the competitions once in awhile.
If you manage to win, well then thats when the worry really starts
Loads on here and thats including myself are just enthusiasts and that is also perfectly clear to the savvy pros that drop in occasionally. I think they the pros get a kick out of it

I personally always thought that the K3iii was overpriced for what it offered.
The very fact that Ricoh Pentax could not offer a tilt screen, was a huge mistake.
I have said this before on its launch
I think the K1 or ii is still by far the better option, a lot slower yes, but that FF sensor is magic
I will keep my K70 alongside the K1ii with the few DA lenses that I possess.
I am considering the K3 mono and still to this day but the price compared to the K1ii is just silly and as some others have pointed out on various platforms that the K1 can produce some brilliant B@W conversions from a raw file, equally comparable to the Mono

Nah !
but there are number of days to go , before the end of the monthly competition.
I will only go out on nice overcast days, as the sunny days are bad for ones health and thats according to the various governments advisory groups.

Super well done job Rick and thanks so much for all the effort and time that you have put in
It has taken a few days for myself to adjust but I love the new opening page and scroll down for the new take on the gallery.
It is most appreciated and the gallery is so much more improved in its theatre style, very professional. Love it
Best of luck Flan

I think Goddess Aphrodite has cast her spell on dish brush

Immaculate

I like the first one but the second, is everything I love about photography.
