As there is another thread already open on this subject, I will keep it brief.

The K3 monochrome was a genuine brave move by the Pentax engineers
It had all the ingredients to be a winner, which I personally think it is.
Ricoh, dare I say compromised Pentax by not allowing the budget for an articulating rear screen.
That camera like others before also has all of the K mount legacy lenses at its disposal.

Ricoh have thrown Pentax under the bus
A lot of Ricoh users will recognise this in time.

Love all the comments, I think that the Pentax 17 half frame was a disastrous move.
500 smackers for a film point an shoot, they even had Thomas Heaton to promote it on his channel.
Ricoh will move on and Pentax are over is the feeling.
The K mount is at an end
I am happy though that i have a perfectly working K1ii and K70 to see me through an a few lenses to booth.
Won't be selling anytime soon, there's no point, I'm an amateur

I have an immaculate copy of this lens also, purchased personally in London 1986.

1799 Euros in Germany is the official price for the GR monochrome so I suppose thats the price across most of Europe.
1500 Euros if one was in japan.
2000 Euros if one is in America (tariffs)
