Battery Holder for Kr

Just got a battery holder for Kr from Ebay for nine pounds, postage free.
Came from Singapore. Fits perfectly, does the job!

Is there any disadvantage in getting one of these cheap eBay ones? Can't really see anything that could go seriously wrong. Have you got the seller ID for that one? How long did it take to get here?

Well i am going to give it a try as a back up as i only have the original holder supplied free by srs when i got the k-r

..... or what are the Li-ion cloned batteries like? They seem very cheap on eBay. I imagine these could be more risky. Any reputable ones?

In Singapore we ave a brand called DiviPower for K5/K-r. Works as good as the originals.

Don't have the seller ID for battery holder, but delivery was about three weeks. It is only a bit of plastic afer all, but I have ordered a proper one from SRS as I feel the cheap one may be just a little bit too long for a perfect fit. You have to force the battery lid to close properly. Works OK, but will try the other one for size.
Also have a li-ion clone from Singapore for eleven pounds. This works perfectly.

Received Pentax Battery Holder from SRS yesterday.(2 days post free delivery!)
My suspicions were correct as this fits perfectly. Battery flap closes properly. The one from Ebay okay for emergencies, but I recommend the official Pentax version inspite of the fact it costs nearly thirty pounds.





Pentax MX,SuperA,MZ5N,KR and many lenses.

Ordered one from the site provided by mike p on the 28th june for £6.55 and it came this morning and it fits and works perfectly.The only difference i can see from the pentax branded item is a bit of metal with the name on it.
