On a lens like this it's preferable to have the PK/A adapter. It's costly but a macro lens with A-setting is more costly than the combination of Adaptall 90mm + PK/A adapter. The cheapest macro lenses with A-setting tend to go for prices above 175 GBP and prices around 200 GBP or even 250 GBP are more common for those lenses than the lower end of the pricerange.

I am Eric and a Pentax user for almost 3 years now.
Began with a K100D Super, stepped up to K20D and now have a K-x and K-7. Also quite a lot of lenses, LBA kicked in a while ago
My most precious lenses are the Pentax K 200mm f2.5, Vivitar Series 1 105mm f2.5, Sigma 70-200mm f2.8. I wouldn't part with them for the world.

I know it's my first post and I will introduce myself in the appropriate section but I have one for sale. It will be shipped from the Netherlands, where I live and for 75 GBP shipped it's fine with me. That would make the price of the lens itself around 62 GBP.

If you get a Pk/a adapter you have a chance to use all those lenses as A-zooms or primes and from expercience I can say most of those SP-lenses are comparable with the best manual zooms available.
