Is it not just a case of putting the same basic RAW software into every camera? Or is that too simplistic, or am I again being stupid.(feel free to express your feelings on that one).

I was obviously mistaken then into thinking that all PEF files are the same. But why are they different? Surely it would make sense to make them all the same.
But having said that camera manufacturers don't seem to use sense do they! I should have realised that. (Stupid Boy)

The only regret I have about Pentax is that I didn't discover them years ago, instead of messing around with Minolta Dynax 5000i and 7000i.
