Just remembered, I also have an adapter for regular K mount lens'. The type with the "lock/open" switch.

Unless you want a tablet for some other reason (films) and even then, I'd stick with lots of SD cards. Minimal space and weight, no hassle with copying and you could (with a K3) duplicate every shot and store them separately. I don't think there is a tablet made that could compete on storage capacity and convenience per £ with cards.

I use a Nikon coolscan ed IV which gives excellent results. I'm not sure if they are still made but you can pick them up on eBay which is what I did. One (easily overcome) snag is that it doesn't work with later versions of Windows: win7. You can, however buy a copy of Vuescan which I believe will run any scanner on the planet and certainly with the Coolscan. It may be more than you want to pay, but after scanning all the slides you could sell it on. Make sure you get a slide carrier with it.

My BIGMA is for sale. This is the non-HSM version. It's in excellent condition with front and rear caps, Skylight filter, hood and case and box. Looking for around £500 including delivery to "normal" UK delivery addresses.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realise windows phone wouldn't work! I have a hudl which works well with the LF1 but I was thinking how convenient it would be to have a phone to control the K3. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

I've read the comments and, having just bought a Panasonic LF1 with a built in WiFi connection, I'd like to try it on my K3. The Panasonic requires IOS or a late version of android to run the panasonic app which is a pain as I'd like to use it with a windows phone. As the flucard does not need an app it should work with a windows phone: has anyone used this setup? :
