I suspect it wasn't fully depleted. If you had tried the grip battery in the camera then I reckon it would have worked fine. I had this issue but it was one of many so I didn't really explore it fully as other issues were more pressing. I did google and found a couple of other mentions of this situation. I think it is a battery management problem rather than a battery problem.

A diverse and enjoyable set. The guy inhaling paint fumes is excellent, a very personal shot. Not sure I'd have the nerve. The first looks like Peter Ustinov. I like the afternoon light shots too.

I like the second shot, although everything does lean a little. Those must be damn good windows. I can commend France. September has been glorious here, forecast is 27deg.C tomorrow.
