Very well done. The portrait is brilliant.

I don't there's any such thing as a 'Made In Vietnam' or MIV lens. My 43Ltd was assembled in Vietnam. Anyway I don't care where it was assembled as I'm not going to sell it.

I'm willing to wager that the Vietnamese plant is very tightly controlled by the Japanese and that standards are identical to those in Japan. When Nissan set up a car plant in Sunderland it became the most efficient in Europe. With all due respect to the fine people of Sunderland I suspect that had more to do with the Japanese.

As new condition.

Looking for £215 inc UK postage. I am travelling to the UK and would be able to post it on 30th March. Alternatively I am happy to hand deliver it in Brighton the following week or anywhere in London around 7th April. Payment by bank transfer or Paypal gift (fees paid by sender).

This is a good value step up from the consumer lens. Here are some photos I have taken with a 55-300 (not the one for sale):

This 1/180th @ 300mm handheld, SR seems to work particularly well with the 55-300:

I've thought about that too. However, I'd want a 21mm as well as the 15mm. My conclusion was that the zoom is just too convenient in this range, especially at the seaside for example where swapping lenses can be a pain. The 12-24 and the 50-135 are the only zooms I'll end up keeping.

It's a very nice lens, good step up from the kit with constant f4 and good close focusing capability at minimum 28cm. I held on to it following the purchase of the 12-24 'just in case' but I have used it very rarely over the last year so it would be happier being put to good use.

Good condition as it should be. There are a few small scuffs on the hood and the front cap. I can't find any marks on the lens itself, there is a tiny manufacturing imperfection that can be seen to the left of the AL- in the second picture but it is barely noticeable and doesn't affect the lens.

Looking for £155 inc UK postage and will throw in a Hoya UV filter for good measure. A Hoya circular polariser (green box) to fit the lens is also available for an additional £15.
