This is a robberfly at 1:1. I had seen about 3 or 4 species in Malaysia. This robberfly is a medium size compared to other species.

Excellent shot! You wouldn't know that flash had been used.

I'd agree with that. I'm not keen on the reflections from many shots with flash used, but this has been perfectly executed, imho. Most definitely an inspiring shot!
