Happy to say that I've just bought a lens from Rob. If you're considering this DA14mm (and why wouldn't you?), there's no need to worry about the seller: he's a top guy to deal with.

Amazon.co.uk is offering Pentax Flucards for 59.95GBP. Not many left, but it does seem that the price is beginning to soften so I expect that more will be available at this price or even less.

Another happy SRS customer here. I part-exchanged my K5 + 18-55WR (£225) for a K-3 and also got the instant £100 SRS part-exchange bonus and the £80 Pentax cash-back. So, the price to change amounted to £364. What a bargain! AND you get a two-year warranty. AND you get to deal with people who know their products inside out and will spare the time to talk you through them. What's more, they don't try to force lots of extras on you that you don't need. I wish all companies were such a pleasure to deal with. Many thanks.

I bought a K-3 from SRS last Friday and the £80 cashback was applied there and then in the shop. I was expecting to have to send off and then to wait, possibly for a long time. But no, it was instant. Great!

I've just bought a Metz flash from John. It arrived in immaculate condition and the whole transaction was a model of what a purchase should be (but sometimes isn't). Thought I'd post this to reassure anyone thinking of buying the camera that you'll be dealing with a top bloke.

All the best,

Chris

Flash received, in immaculate condition. I would have believed it if told that it is new. Many thanks to John: top seller. The transaction was speedy and efficient, all backed up by regular updates. I see John has a camera for sale at the moment. If this is anything to go by, and I'm sure it is, whoever buys it will be getting a camera in tip-top condition.

All the best,

Chris

Hi Pentaxonian,

Don't mean to rain on your parade (and your lens looks good as new), but SRS Microsystems are offering this lens brand new with two-year warranty for £349. Admittedly, postage will be extra. I mention it in case you hadn't spotted their offer.

All the best,

Chris

On checking again, I see that it is available for download until 22.59 GMT on Sunday 18 December. It has interesting and useful information and tips, whether or not you're into wildlife photography.

All the best,

Chris
