Or you could try Currys, they have the K-x/18-55/50-200 bundle for £399.99 LINK

I never understood the complaints about the K200d jpeg quality. Mine's fine, it was probably a canon user who tested the camera, decided to 'alter' the truth as it was a threat to the canon equivalent!
Dpreview showed the difference between jpeg and raw when they reviewed the K200D, and there was a difference, but I sometimes feel that these reviews blast a camera for issues that are only seen in large prints and when pixel peeping. When it came to reviewing its replacement they said the K200D was one of the best specified entry level dslr's ever.

I am torn over the K-x which just keeps coming down but cannot go much lower surely than today,Park Cameras: £469.99 with the 18-55/55-300 lenses, has to be a pretty smart deal at that price and I am a sucker for bargains.

I no longer have the K200D. I seem to get the impression that there is quite an improvement in IQ in the K-x over the K200D, dpreview did not like the K200D jpeg's whereas the K-x jpeg's are much better. And before everybody wades in I don't have the time for raw and pp

Can I ask the forum to take a look at my flickr photostream and advise if the K-x will be suitable for me. In particular will the af point selected be an issue ?
I personally think that it won't because so much of my shots are landscape and if set to centre then I just have to learn to overcome that way. The K-x is available in several shops as different packages, but one has new body for £299 and 18-55 MK II for £49 which is very appealing.

I understand what you mean but the 18-55 Mk II is a pretty decent lens and I am torn over it and the 16-45mm. I need a new lens to get the cashback and the 18-55 is much cheaper and it has the extra 10mm on the long end, but I do miss the 2mm on the wide end as 24mm is great for landscape.

I Have found the K-R for £449 body only and the 18-55 AL II for £69 at mifsuds, £448 after cashback. I would rather this lens than the DA-L version as it has the lens hood, and if memory serves me right a metal lens mount.
