Does that me all sigma lenses are inferior?
No.
for the amount of use it gets, my 400 is fine.
do check carefully on each model lens you're looking at, and decide if it fits your needs, and please share your results with us. We all love photography first, pentax second! some of us might've never learned to love photography, if not for pentax.

Sorry I missed it. I would've suggested calling the flashmaker, trying a different hot shoe adaptor, or new pc cords or wireless transmitter.
hope that helps.
be grateful you weren't shooting canon, I hear they get fried quite easily, and can't handle the slightest overload, or polarity reversals without costly repairs!

Many, many photographers out there do not own or intend to buy pro flash units.
nobody buys pro flash units unless they have a camera.
if the burden to answer your question falls anywhere i'ts the flash maker.
after all if the flash unit fries the camera, Pentax winds up replacing/repairing it under warrenty, if they start offering tech support on using the flash with the camera.
really you asked the wrong people. The people in this forum will help if they can...the flash maker should offer help to owners of any camera system that wants to use thier equipment, and hopefully have tested thier product thouroughly with many popular camera brands.
Feel free to feel slighted, it's your right, but I respectfully disagree with you.
ps the link you posted above pertians to a lens.

I agree with thier stance.
If I deliver images to a client, and they in turn, try to get copies made at kodak copy station (had this happen...they actually called to complain about the quality of the copy and get advice on how to get better copy), said my reprints were too expensive. do I have to support them? No. If they pay me to get more prints, THEN it's my problem to make sure they get quality reprints.
Pentax has no control over how some other company supports thier product.
That may be like blaming chevrolet for not giving a tune up for rough idling car, after you get bad gas from a service station.

no movie (yet)
no moving stills (yet).
Just a music peice I put together.
I intend to add a voice overlay, some video and still images synched to the bass (deliberately vibrates btw, not clipped!) but I was trying for a sound that would stick in your head, but not drive you completely insane....
