Mac I love your attitude!
Guys..brave the bad weather as best you can. there are great images to be made out there!
and if you can't, Mac is right.

I just got some news from the Doc, about some arthuritis and spondylosis setting into old injuries on my neck and spine. No point crying about it.

I'M FINALLY GETTING A NOTE FROM MY DOCTOR EXCUSING ME FROM HAVING TO WEAR A HELMET ON MY MOTORCYCLE! WOO-HOO!

sad to say this (because I want it) but ebay is probably your best bet, the market will certianly tell you what price it will bear......
Me, on the other hand....I'd want it fairly cheap....'cause I can't really afford to buy lens right now....
try a reserve of 2/3 to 3/4 what it cost you new, and leave it up there for a long auction....

cool, the sceen from jurasic park, where the people see the waves in the glass of water, simulating the footsteps of the t-rex, was done with vibrations from a guitar string run through a hole in the jeep anchored to the stage, and plucked by person on cue.....
same idea!

tape a playstation game controller to a flinsy tripod and run some (controlled) dc current into the "Force Feedback" motor in the controller to get a consistant, (and variable) amount of shake to the camera.

you wont confuse the two to look at! as long as it's a Pentax lens, K mount will always be fine with any DSLR, except for certain metering issues with M series and earlier lenses. As John mentioned there are problems with certain lenses designed for Ricoh bodies. This is not entirely limited to Ricoh lenses so it's wise to be careful when using older non-Pentax glass.

Ricoh=screwed kmount...

you are right hefty1.
but at thirty bucks?
people should remember, thet even a high def vid cam will ring in with a three megapixel sensor (forget ten mp stills they're interpolated), so a high def video cam lens (pro quality) only needs half the resolution of a kit lens for a six mp dslr.... a lens built to a price point, for a standard def camcorder ain't even gonna come close to decent camcorders resolution, never mind a Pentax lens.

it's a cheap video adaptor.
don't expect anything better than Holga for image quality.
you can find those for a buck, at a thrift/second hand store, or grab a one dollar magnifying glass from a dollar store....or a broken pop bottle from the trash for free.....

a good quality video adapter (tele, wide or fisheye) will cost as much as the pentax 10-17mm fisheye lens...

trust me..I've tried all the above...
