add a sensor/switch to the tripod socket, and have the sucker turn off when tripod'd or remote release..
And what happens when you attach a grip or a handstrap or flash bracket?
or have standard a QR plate on your camera...
oh I don't know..you maybe go through the menu and set it manually?

actually touchscreen or no...to negate the need for sr button on the body, one only needs to:

A) improve the sr, so you can leave it on all the time, and not worry about whether it's on a tripod or not...
and or:
B) add a sensor/switch to the tripod socket, and have the sucker turn off when tripod'd or remote release..

which would leave you dipping into the menu for specialty items like panning sr mode....

now wouldn't it be sweet if you pressed the menu button, taped the function on the lcd, like say sr to turn on/off, then hit the ok button to confirm....

I've long been a believer in waiting for version 2.0 on anything...but as I see it, this is a revision with an existing sensor, so still image quality has got to be good..the video features...I got top quality video cameras already...
what this cam brings to the table is the ability to use f1.4, fisheye zoom, and 85mm soft, to get a few video clips that match my stills....so I might take the plunge...nothing to lose and something my competitors can't replicate to gain!!!
I may kijiji (like ebay or craiglist) one of my k10's and bundle that with 10 hrs 1-1 photography lessons/studio time to get my full purchase price from the k10 back...and drop that on the new camera.

comes form the China oficial website so it's real.

The K7 is much more news then what the K20D was, don't you think?
better marketing....leaks, rumours suspense...now if they announce it and have it in the stores the same day, they will truly have learned how Apple made it to the top!
