Don
what have you got to start with?
I'd recommend if you got one af360 you stick a styrofoam cup on it, or a bounce card and use it an a reflector while you start out.... off camera of course, off shoe adaptors and cord or wireless
then when you get good at it, decide what you need from there, based on the results you were getting...

let us not forget one more little tidbit of info....
if the video function of the new pentax dslr and its successors can reach a certian level of quality...
Wedding photographers wouldn't need to carry 2 systems.... I spend money with Sony for video....
Negating the need for me to spend money with Sony, would be the next best thing to getting an extra sale from me... there are still a couple lenses I'd have bought from Pentax IF I hadn't bout camcorders...

there are others like me, and soon enough we'll be the majority and the market place will demand imaging experts that shoot both still and video.

The Red (ie scarlet) one would be the only one pentax should be copying if they want a peice of the next big thing...

I think they're spot on, just one little thing you could add...a few wider shots might go great with the close-ups.

what hefty said, but I'll add this:
the quick shift negates the need for a focus limiter...ESP IF... you pre focus... it rarely misses or hunts for me, but I usually have the lens close to where I need it before depressing the shutter halfway....

Hi Don
As things stand I do not have any specialized macro lighting. I was considering a twin flash set up or maybe a macro ring flash. I would be obliged if you can offer some guidance on that front. I do have a prety reasonable studio set up lighting wise in as much as I have in interfit kit but to date I have only used this indoors though if its dry I see no real problems for the garden.
Describe some specs/details on what you got....
before you go spend any money...
start with what you got, then... you'll easily figure out what to buy next.
the shot i posted was rediculously easy indoor studio shot, was just playing around...
