The glass is clean, scratch, fungus and haze free.
The focus rings movement has a nice even Pentax feel.
The aperture is precise with definite clicks. The iris is fast moving with no lag.
The manual / auto switch works as expected.
Lens comes with original slip on 'Asahi Pentax' metal front cap and plastic 'Takumar' rear cap.

£45 + postage of your choice Bank Transfer preferred. Collection can be arranged from near Newbury, Berkshire.

Here we have for sale a Pentacon 4/200 manual lens. 15 curved blade aperture.
It has aM42 screw mount fitting.
It is in good condition for its age with the odd small mark here and there.
The lens itself is in great shape, with no signs of fungus.
Optics are nice and clear, a little dust but nothing that will cause any problems in use.
Focusing works well, and is smooth.
Aperture operates smoothly. Blades are clean and even.
It comes with both lens caps, original lens hood and hard case.
Item comes from a smoke free home.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask, thanks.

Am I the only one to think number 2 is rather good?
The roughness of the rocks, smooth clarity of the moving water surface and the detail of below. Hard, soft, sharp and smooth with a symmetry, whilst being asymmetric at the same time.

Bob.

Peter, John, Serge, thanks for your comments about the light, which is precisely what I hoped people would see.
Serge, why am I not surprised that you would be attracted to the telegraph poles?! (But I'm glad you were, as I hoped they form a kind of frame for the panorama in the evening sunlight.)
The electricity poles make a good frame in No3 but I think 1 & 4 are my favorites.

Plastic clothes pegs work fine as film drying clips.
Really cheap as you can find them around the house if no one's looking!

I used to use a short bit of old film leader as a leader extractor. Push into the film cartridge slot and turn the rewind knob backwards to guide the film leader out of the slot. You could use the end of the 'dummy' roll.

All the best, Bob.
