Reviews on the tripod are pretty scarce, the one I based my decision on was written in 2006

However , once it is my possession, I will post a review in the relevant forum.

Not sure if this forum is meant for giving other users a heads -up but I have just managed to source a brand new Slik 613 CF Carbon Fibre Tripod (legs only ) from Camera King at £89.99. The tripod seems to have had good reviews and I thought that other forum members might be interested. I am not affiliated in any way to Camera King.

Price reduced to £30 to move it on as I now have a Nature trekker Aw II.

This rucksack I bought new for almost three times the price I'm asking. Thought I would offer it here before putting it on ebay at the week end. At this price I'm almost giving it away as the RRP was originally £130.

The backpack has been used a number of times and on each occasion has managed to carry all of my camera kit along with a full size tripod and miscellaneous items for hillwalking with no trouble at all. It is not the lightest of bags but is well constructed and comfortable to carry with a multi-point harness, all weather cover and tripod carrying system. The side access hatch to the lower compartment works really well as long as you are not using a DSLR with grip fitted or it becomes a bit of a squeeze
