I ordered a 35mm F2.8 Macro Limited lens last week thinking it would be perfect for a walk around and macro work. Well it arrived today and though I am very impressed with the quality of the 30 or so test images I have taken in my garden, I feel the working distance for macro work is too small for me so I have decided to put the lens up for sale while it can be classed as brand new.

I thought I should offer the lens here first as I have benefitted from good deals here previously. I am looking to get back what I paid for the lens and no more. other than postage costs, so it is up for sale at £309.99.

Lens is brand new in box with receipt and warranty, front and rear caps, pouch etc.

Paypal gift is the preferred option but i am happy to take a cheques but will not post the lens until payment has cleared.

Lens will be listed on ebay at the week end.

Currently have Pentax DA 15mm F4 Limited up for sale on fleabay under my user name and looking for £449 but only selling to fund purchase of a Pentax 100mm WR Macro lens. The 15mm is almost new having been purchased late Feb 2011 and has only been used approx 30 times.

Would prefer to swap for a Pentax 100mm WR Macro with possible cash adjustment if any one out there is interested?

I (and I'm sure others) might be interested in this lens but only if the price is adjusted a bit. SRS are currently selling a used Excellent ++ version for £299 with six months warranty. I appreciate the lens was only purchased recently but it is still used.

Pentax 16-45mm arrived safely and appears to operate well although I am surprised at the state of the box / packaging that would indicate the lens is fairly old . Also, you advised that as the lens only ten days old, you would include the receipt in order that the PENTAX warranty could be used if needed. Still no sign of the warranty ..............
