I really like them both. I think #2 would work well as a letterbox crop, losing a lot of the black foreground.

This is photography as it should be, what you see is what you get! Non of this faffing about in Photoshop to put your errors right or to change nature!

Very nice, would love to have a go at photographing them.
It's not very PC, but my mother told me that when she was young kids would tie cotton thread to the noses and 'fly' them!

I like the #3 with its composition and lovely colors, and IMHO i think you did right to post the first two images in mono, it suits them so well...
I have the same problem with the Turkish climate and light, it somehow gets soft, i think it's because of the heat. Any suggestions of what to do, to get around this would be appreciated.
