You're more than likely right.
Re-looking at it, if it was mine I probably would have tried lift it but then revert back.
But then, if it had been Me, it wouldn't look half as good as that.
Savage shooting as ever.

Great set.

Pentax Fa 20-35mm if you can find one, may well be a better replacement for the 15-30mm than the Irix, you would lose the F2.8 though, that may or may not be an issue for you, but you retain some zoom. Lennybloke has one and rates it highly,

I have the samyang 135mm f2 and can tell you that it is one sharp lens, even wide open, solidly built, smooth focusing, hard to fault it really.
A few shots, just trying out mine

Thank you Gwyn, much appreciated. I don't know how much time i will get to take photos as this trip is really just for her, but if I can get some while there, it will be a bonus.
Thanks for the heads up on the red light district, I probably wouldn't have tried, but now I definitely wont

My daughter and myself are heading to Amsterdam tonight for a few days.
Anyone know of any well lit scenes that I should try and get to ?

Spotted this weird little chap on a flower, its a lacewing larvae as far as I know.
Best viewed on flickr for the larger sizes and zoom
Apparently they cover themselves in debris to help camouflage themselves
