These guys were swooping and climbing and i had tried and failed to get any kind of decent shot before. The first one i know isnt quite there but close enough for me to be happy with it and the second i just thought the sky was lovely.
CC most welcome.

Plenty of good action shots there. I've never been at a hockey match but I presume it's fairly fast paced so you have done well to capture good sharp images. #3 is my fav.
I will leave any cc to those who are better qualified than myself to give it.
I just know what I like (if not why)

Thanks folks, I must have a thing for strays, our dog was a stray pup that was abandoned and our current cat , I found in a bin as a really small kitten. And now this one.
The snake and tortoise came from pet shops.

We noticed this little fella keeping an eye on us through the fence about a week ago, after a bit of watching on our part we discovered that it was living in the holes in the cavity blocks. There had been no sign of its mom for the last week so with a bit of feeding, coaxing and petting its now part of our family, (just need to introduce it to our cat, dog, tortoise and snake) Cant see any problems
Here are a couple of pics.

Thanks guys, It may just be a one off or it might happen again as my ability improves but whatever the outcome a big thanks to all who offered advice and cc on some of my earlier attempts. (I do "try" and put it into practice)
