Lovely lens and at £150.00 plus postage a very fair price.

Would make a nice Christmas present but be quick as I suspect it will soon be gone.

Considering it's a new to you lens being tested in adverse weather conditions and hand held as well, I think the lens shows great potential. I don't seem to manage sharp shots with a big heavy lens when using a tripod so I'm impressed with your hand holding ability.

Looking forward to seeing what else you produce with it and also your thoughts on it.

Well they may have

Thanks for the heads up.

Will give it a workout over the weekend hopefully.

Lol... I had a notion when I posted that this might interest you and when it when it disappeard so quickly I had a strong suspicion who had snapped it up, so it comes as no real surprise to learn I was on the mark.

It certainly looks a beast but I hope you are pleased with it and that it proves a worthwhile purchase by performing well for you in the field. I'll be watching with interest for some results.

Best wishes.

1977 when I first laid hands on a Pentax. It was a K1000 that belonged to my girlfriend. I loved it. Then we split up - gee I did miss that camera!

Hello Richard,

If no one here has one to sell, there are a couple available at the following:-

https://camtechuk.com/shop/other-mfrs/other-manufacturer-lenses/pentax-40mm-f2-8...

https://www.camera-house.co.uk/product/pentax-smc-m-40mm-f28-pancake-lens

I can't say for certain but I'm fairly confident that both sellers will likely ship to Germany.

Good luck with your search.
