The photo is brilliant - leave that aside. Now look at the sheer design intricacy of all these components!

You should be pleased with it. For what you aspired to, it isn't far off perfection.

The middle one is certainly the best of the three. We can't see the exif, for obvious reasons, but the d.o.f. is very shallow, resulting in a third of the in-focus rivets on the left edge being excluded from the frame. Reframing it to include more or stopping down to extend the focal area would improve it. (maybe it is stopped down - that's what we can't see).

I recognised whose photo this was as soon as I saw it. Lovely result.

What an astonishing image. How many millions of tons of coal does that represent? (and the same applies to all developed nations!)

It stands out from every other thumbnail on the page. The full sized image doesn't disappoint.

Everybody mourns Ektachrome. Why was it discontinued? This is as good an advert for it as any - plain, clean, bright, captivating colour (or color, if you must).

It looks chilly too. You got this one just right.

It simply demands to be looked at.
