Very creative. Is that a self portrait with you in the mirror? david

I couldn't agree with you more about being suble with HDR. For me about 75% of HDR photos in this and other forums are totally OTT and turn me right off. The other 25%, and I include this one, are artistic. david

Nothing humble about the blackbird Ken, he's got a good singing voice. As always, a beautifully sharp photo with good colour. david

That sky's wonderful. David

Hope you didn't get painty finger marks on your camera Ken. But I reckon it would be worth it when you get shots as good as this. david PS: Are you having to do all the work before you're allowed out to the Pentax Meet on Saturday?

That's an interesting tone for an IR John, but I like it. david

I agree with all the above, it's a superb B+W picture. Pictures like this make me wonder if we shouldn't have as a competition subject 'The Hand of Man' depicting the abandoned machinery and buildings left behind as technology moves on.

Good use of a wide angle Ken. (I didn't know you also had the Sigma 10-20mm). It's a superb graphic image. david

Nice piece of panning and the reflection is a bonus.

I like the composition, the background painting adds a lot of interest to the flower shot creating a very artistic picture. One little suggestion: Could the flower have been given a touch more contrast or the background darkened down slightly just to give greater seperation? That way the flower would have stood out more sharply against the background. david
