I like the quality and colour in this image, Ken, particularly in the water. The tree stump sticking out of the Tweed makes a good focal point. david

Contemporary approach to portraiture and very cutting edge. This picture defies compositional convention but in an artistic and challenging way. Take a pair of eyes, a pair of lips and single nostril and you have a woman's face; place them on the edge of the frame and you have a portrait that is a million miles from the traditional studio glamour shot and one that has something new to say. david
