Atmospheric shot, there's something relaxing about canals and rivers in the rain. I don't know what it is but this picture sums it up. Trust your pentax weather sealing was in good working order. david

Love this. The colours are spot on and the light trails add drama. david

Excellent. Good pic of the owly thing but I also love the colour and textures in the old wood of the barn door and the rusty hinges. david

What big eyes you have Grand Mama. It's a scarey world down there in Macro Land. Nice one Ken. david

Nice one John, I always like your infra reds. It makes Durham Cathedral look as if it's in the middle of a forest. david

You've captured this expertly Dave. I've been wanting to see this bridge ever since it was built. david

That's a beautiful photo Cliff. Good colours and composition and what's so important for natural history, it's pin sharp in the right places. david

First class panning, you handled the 300mm lens expertly. david

The diffused yellow flower could be the sun in this artistic rendition of a natural history photo. It's superb. david

It's interesting that this version has a slightly different crop to the one you posted in the Forum. I think I liked the tighter crop in the Forum better. You don't need to see much of the chair to know its a chair. In both versions I like the minimalist treatment of the subject and the wonderful colour. For me this is one of the more fascinating recent entries in the gallery. david
