Graphic lines lead the eye upwards through the man made scenery to a beautiful blue sky. Excellent shot. david

Fantastic scene of modern architecture under construction. Just a slight note of criticism though, the highlights have burned out a bit on the lightest coloured tower. It would strengthen the picture if it was toned down a bit. david

Beautifully composed shot with excellent colour. david

That's magic Emily. I love the trails of water pouring down and the hint of detail in the ground. It's a well spotted subject. The black and white conversion works well. david

It's certainly a fine picture, I particulalry like the subtle tones in the sky. One of these days I'll get down to Kent to photograph the RHDR. david

Which ever way you look at it, this is an impressive image. david

Wow, thrice wow! - this is superb. david

That raises an ineresting question Emily. You have to re-enter a picture in the Gallery to get it in your Portfolio even if it's already been in the Forum or a competition. Can't it happen automatically? Someone who doesn't enter in the Gallery will not have a Portfolio no matter how active they are in the competitions or Forum. david

I like the rich touches of deep red in this picture and the diagonal yellow line is an excellent compositional tool. The fabric round the boot has some first class textures. I admired this image when I judged it in a weekly competition and I still like it now. david

Lovely colour and soft tones. david
