Maay thanks Glyn for the time and thought you put into the judging. Congrats to Tony on his fine win and to the other competitors, I thought there were some great pictures. Giving Tree's portrait had stunning quality.
My own entry was a panic effort. In the first week of the competition I tried to do some street photography but the weather was so awful I had to give up. Then we were in Scotland for a few days - out in the wilds with snow everywhere. In the end I entered a picture that was more of a landscape than it was about people.

Soft or not the images are interesting. I love the various attitudes of the people in the shots.

Those high ISO shots are so clean. I love my K10 but I must admit it gets quite noisy at the higher ISO settings.

The mono version works best for me Emily. I'm not fond of the magenta. I think the picture you entered in the fortnightly competition far exceeds this one in quality.
