I have both lenses and the Sigma 70-300 never gets used as it is inferior to the Pentax 55-300 in terms of image quality. Also, because I have the DA L version of the 55-300 it is much lighter than the Sigma and this suits me.

Put me down for this definitely Shaun. I might want to have a go with your 150-500 lens though!

The first one of the Skipper is an absolute belter Neil. I'm very jealous, as others in the UK have mentioned there are almost no butterflies about this year. The population here must have crashed quite severely.

Does the Pentax Utility change the RAW File with CA correction, or do you have to saved the corrected version out to a TIFF or other bitmap format?
I'm not 100% sure, maybe someone can confirm or deny? I only tend to do very basic processing in the Pentax software, then save the file out as a TIFF or JPEG and finish the processing in other applications.

Great news Axel, but we will all be worried about what the K-5 could do in the hands of someone like you? Will we ever be able to get a look in or will you be unstoppable now?

Fabulous set Neil, the lens works well for butterflies. I can't wait to have a go with my Sigma 105mm Macro, but there are so few butterflies about in the UK at present it's next to impossible. I cannot remember a year with so few butterflies here and it's a real worry for some species.
