Then I did have the thought, how do you get moisture out of a weather resistant body.
That's why you should leave the lens off as it allows airflow. It's amazing how little water is required to cause fogging and condensation inside an LCD screen.

What do you mean Will? They just look over-exposed to me? do you mean the software has caused the issue or it has not been used correctly?

They are very sharp, if a little over-exposed. I find with the 150-500 that it does tend towards over-exposure a bit and usually shoot 2/3 of a stop under with this lens. It's a very good lens tough and your pictures demonstrate the sharpness and nice colour rendition.

There's something wrong with your camera. I've used mine in all weathers - rain, hail, sleet and snow, down to -10 or so and it has never missed a beat. It certainly hasn't steamed up like yours - this is an indication that moisture is getting in somewhere and you need to find out where. If you want to get it working again, leave it in a sunny window with the lens off (but something to stop dust getting in), or put it in an airing cupboard for a few days.

Great stuff Mike, just think what you could have done with a K-5IIs

Just joking, these are superb.

I also agree with you Dr. O. The K55 F1.8 is a belter too and very cheap in comparison to a modern 50 or 55mm! You do have to take more care with the older ones (like your elderly relatives!), but they can reward in spades with lots of atmosphere and a completely different look to anything that's produced today.

I wouldn't swap my M28mm F3.5 for anything, except a K28mm F3.5!

Yep, I agree Will, looks like the exposure is way too high on all of these shots and more careful use of the lens would pay dividends.

Get yourself a 12-24 Stuey, I can tell you it's a stunner! Flexibility and IQ! It's bigger than a prime but who cares? It's also great shooting into the sun.

Cheers
