The K-5 at SRS for £449 is a steal - this is a magnificent camera for this price and should be a no brainer if you are looking to buy a Pentax DSLR at present.

I'm wondering how you get on with manual focusing here? I always seem to struggle a bit as I wear glasses?
I don't seem to struggle too much - I tend to leave the focussing ring on the lens alone and move backwards / forwards with the camera instead. This is also a technique that works wonders with macro, where the DOF is so thin.

David - HELP!!

A lovely set - I particularly like "Two" and "Blue and Gold", but do you know the proper name of the flower in Donkey's Ears? We have it as "weeds" in our garden and I love the flowers, but have completely failed to identify it.

Phil
Really sorry Phil, but I'm having as much trouble as you are in identifying this plant! It is a great addition to our garden, very attractive foliage and flowers and it grows in the poorest of soils where other plants struggle to take hold.

Thanks for everyone for your comments on these shots, it really is appreciated.

Best wishes
David

I like the first three in particular Stuey, number three is my favourite. The focus on number 2 is ever so slightly forward of ideal as it's not razor sharp on the teasel head, but it's still a nice shot.
