A lovely natural image Maria, not much wrong with this one! To echo some of the comments above, I think it needs just a bit more 'breathing space' around the main subject and maybe the wall is just a little bit too prominent in the composition.

However, I suspect that most of us would have been happy to have this one in our own portfolio!

The K3 is a superb camera, but is let down by the lack of fast longer glass.
Not in my opinion or possibly others who have suffered lock ups and mirror slap.

Best regards
I think it is the same with most complex electronic equipment that is driven by what is essentially a computer and software. I've never had any problems with my K-3 since buying it in November 2013 and based on its performance I would class it as a 'superb camera'. I appreciate others may not have been as fortunate, but I can only state my own experiences. For me my K-3 is head and shoulders above my K-5IIs.

I can see the halo on the first one too, although notwithstanding this it is a lovely image.

My favourite is the third one, it is beautiful. I think also it could be even better with a crop to the bottom to remove some of the sand that isn't really playing a part in the composition.

Last one in the series tonight. This is more like my 'standard fare'; I'm posting it because I like it! This is the Church at Letwell, a small hamlet on the South Yorkshire / Nottinghamshire border close to Oldcotes and Tickhill. To me, this is a typical English Country scene. Shot with the K-5IIs and Sigma 17-70 F2.8-4 HSM OS lens.

Finally, you are in for a treat next week as I have passed the Baton to Maria, otherwise known as 'Autumnlight'. Please show Maria some support for the beautiful images I am sure she will post.

Best wishes

Hello again! Thank you for your comments on the first three so far. Here is number four; it's an iconic location, so how on earth do you do something original here? My take was to isolate a part of this stunning and ancient building and make sure I got the exposure right, which was not easy! This was shot with the K-5 and DA 17-70 lens. Please give me your opinions!

I would avoid like the plague for many reasons, not least when I see an item with this description:

"Pentax Lumix DMC-GH3 Mirrorless Digital Camera (Black) New"
