I'm with Andrew on number 4. I don't know how busy it is up there, in terms of people, but I don't think the figures necessarily enhance the images.
Hi Barrie, it was very busy that day and impossible to keep people out of the photos, so I decided to try and make them a feature where they were in the frame. In the middle of Winter it would be a different matter, you would probably get some shots then with no-one about.

Looking at these on a tablet David. Water doesn't look natural. Far too dark compared to the sky. Probably just the tablet
I haven't darkened it Alan, this is how they were, but it may also be the effect of the Polarising Filter that has made it look darker. Without the filter the shots wouldn't have been possible, or they would have required too much processing adjustment, so I'm afraid this is just one of the many compromises we have to make as photographers!

These are very nice, they capture the ambience of the place very well. A couple need straightening as they are a bit wonky (first two in particular), but that's no big deal.

This is my second set of images from a shoot I did last weekend at Stanage Edge, which is at the Sheffield side of the Derbyshire Peak District. It is a very accessible location and one that's well worth a visit if you are in the locality. This set is all about the surprisingly large amount of water that rests in puddles and small pools on top of the ridge. All of these images are shot with the K-3 and Samsung D-Xenon 12-24 lens, with a Hoya Pro1 Polariser. All were on a tripod.

I've been to Santorini and you will need all the gear you can take. Don't leave the wide angle behind, otherwise you will regret it.

I'm also surprised no-one has mentioned a Polariser - this is essential in my view for a location like Santorini, to maximise the blue skies and colour saturation. Make sure it's a good quality one so you don't lose sharpness.

Also, you will need a tripod for sunset shots, even if it is a lightweight one. Don't underestimate the quality of tripod you will need, Santorini is a windy location and you will need stability.

The 18-300 doesn't interest me, I think there may be too many compromises on IQ with this lens and I've spent the last 12 months carefully buying the right glass for my K-3, which is paying dividends at the moment. I would rather change lenses to cover the range and get better IQ.

If the date permits, I would love to come on this meet. Are you thinking sometime in the Autumn Barrie?

These are great Alan, a superb advert for your skills as a photographer.

Blimey these are good. I thought the K3 was supposed to be noisy in low light. Very impressive. Professional.
Don't believe everything you read Andrew! The K-3 is a superb camera, the best I have ever had. I've had no complaints about image noise with mine.

This one is just about perfect. It has a lovely warm glow, but avoids the overly yellow look that gold reflectors can sometimes bring. Everything gels here, the colours, the pose, the vignette, the background. I'm not sure you could improve on this Maria.

Thank you for posting a superb and varied set of 5, it was as good as I hoped it would be!
