Sorted your interference idea was correct, finally got my brain working. The wireless remote was effecting the nearest flash receiver to it, despite being on different channels. Just have to move further away from the flashes. Cheers Tim, this has been bugging me for weeks.

I have 2 wireless flash triggers, they both have fresh batteries and are set to the same channel as the transmitter.
When I press the shutter button on the camera both of them register the signal (they work).
When I press the test button on the transmitter both of them register the signal (they work).
When I use my wireless remote only one receiver works, the other does not get a signal from the transmitter.

Any ideas : it`s driving me nuts.

Looks like something is not right to me
Have wondered about this since I got it, It looks unused but it does seem to have almost a misty feel to the images it produces. I only got it for moon shots, have yet to see the moon

I think the whitish fog on the left is due to me shooting through an open window.

Have been reflecting on this most of tonight, well lets face it the Liverpool game was a bit tedious.
For me the issue is quite simple; Do we as photographers have the right to make other people feel uncomfortable :
for what we perceive as our art: I think not.

It`s an interesting one, had I been at the front of that crowd I do not think I would have been happy, and I am not a Muslim. For me it would be an invasion of my privacy. After all I would not know what you intended to do with the image. Sorry Mhuni, and all you other "street photographers" but if somebody wanted to take my photo I would much prefer they asked my permission first.

Dear Mr ******,

Photography for personal use is indeed permitted inside the Cathedral, apart from service times. If you are intending to use a tripod, please ensure that it has rubber feet, rather than metal, to avoid scratching the floor.

I hope you enjoy your visit to Chester and the Cathedral.

Yours sincerely,
Above was the responce I received when I asked if I could photograph in Chester Cathedral. Particularly liked the note re Tripods.

Have tested mine with a 2x converter on, the IQ is`nt bad but actually using it is a nightmare, you will need a sturdy tripod and give it time to settle down once focussed; the slightest breath of wind or any movement shows as blurr. Will publish a few test shots tommorrow if somebody else does not beat me to it.
