I usually do my photography on Fridays however the last 4 weeks i have been unable to do anything due to business commitments. Today am going to Liverpool city centre so think I shall take the 12-24 and the 35-70. Hopefully it may not even be raining

You certainly need to upgrade the Tamron to a DA 55-300, £200 in the classified, and edumads Sigma 17-70 (£170) would be a great upgrade to your kit 18-55. So yes of course you need to spend more.

Hi Defoe,
What do the lenses do?
A) Focus the light onto the sensor.
Do I have to many of them?
A) You can never have too many lenses
Do some of them do the same job?
A) Yes.
Am i confusing myself with so many?
A) Probably, but keep them all anyway; see below.
Going on holiday soon which lens should i take?
A) Pentax 18-55 + Tamron 70-300, this gives a good spread from wide for landscapes to telephoto for wildlife, the Tammy also has a useful macro (close up) function.

I would strongly advise against selling any of your lenses before you have gained some experience. The market in Pentax is rising so you will not lose out if you wait, but more importantly you may well sell something which later on you wish you had kept.

Have both types, they power my flashes and wireless triggers.
No problems after 3 months use, they do hold their charge well.

Some good textures here, but not sure if I would want to see it on my wall.

No Permission needed, the only "rule" is not using spiked feet on tripods.

do i not need to shoot in Bulb mode to get a 60 second exposure
Yes you do, according to the exif you where at f14? (seems slightly odd in itself) however had you set your aperture to f8 a 30 second exposure ' ISO200 should have been ok
