Totally agree, if C&C is invited, it should be accepted, provided that it is constructive. I have learnt quite a bit through following C&C post`s. Am sure it is good for the ego when someone post`s a "lovely shot" comment, but it does`nt do much for ones developement, equaly "it`s no good" does`nt help much either.

I cannot understand what is going on here, I bought into Pentax last January; it was the system that best matched my criteria. It was not the "best" camera, or "best" range of lenses around, it suited my needs the best.
I am happy with my choice, if another person decides that Canon or Nikon or whatever suits them best I cannot see a problem with that. Does my photography suffer because someone else chooses a different system : No.
Is it this forums mission to convert all camera users to Pentax :
I don`t think so.
I feel that images posted, and questions or opinions raised should relate to Pentax, within the Pentax areas. Cannot for the life of me see what is wrong in discussing other brands in the general areas, in a civil manner.

Interesting one this.
I would imagine he cost of proving such a case would be considerable. How would the identity of the alledged even be proven, cannot recall any I.D. checks when i joined this forum. Even if I.D was proven would imagine the court award would not be very much, if anything, and the chances of not getting cos`s awarded quite high.
Think sometimes somethings are taken just a bit to seriously.

Cannot see any correlation but the 12-24 seems to be hopelessly out of step, we are told that both brands lenses are produced to the same spec, in the same factory. I cannot see the logic.
If prices do fall what happens then? all you people who bought at the higher price start complaining about the poor resale prices you are getting.

I agree, got my K20 last January, lens prices where a major consideration in my choice of system. I am very happy with my Pentax, it`s limitations don`t impact on my type of photography, however, with the lens price increases not sure if I would make the same decision now.
As thing stand I will be buying 3rd party or Samsung(I know it`s pentax) Lenses. Still at leat I have access to all the old glass.
