The black and white reminds me of the pictures in the Poucher guides. The composition seems to invite a visit for a real exploration of the scene.

I think that there is a worrying trend here. Does this picture connect with the next Northern meet? What is the Forum becoming???

The picture reminds me of some C18 gravestones I have seen.

I find the photo a bit messy but it is good to see someone experimenting with the 10 - 20. I find it gives interesting perspectives.

Dave

Thanks Greynolds for the prompt!! Sure, I will sell you all bacon batties from my little home

Perhaps I should redocorate the interior as Draculas castle and play Black Sabbath all weekend!!! Now there's athought...

Dave

my two shots were also taken with a bigma. It's anice lens but it is light greedy and heavy. Still can't have evrything can we? If we had the perfect equipment photography would be like F1 racing - boring!!

Dave

Well, here we are three days later and I have sifted through my collection and would like to share these two with you

It was good to meet you all. It's nice to be outside with a group of people with a common interest. I think we spend too much time at computers and not enough taking photographs. Computer watching can make you cranky!!

Dave

....and there are no rules about tripods as far as I know
