Sorry, my mistake, no soft pouch is included with this lens.

I am selling my DA 17-70 since I have just purchased a Sigma 10-20 and have coverage of the remainder of the focal length range with primes.

This lens was originally purchased from Jessops by another forum member in January of this year, and sold to me the following month. The reasons had nothing to do with the quality of the lens, I might add.

The lens is in excellent condition, having had quite light use and it has been well looked after. I will post photos of the lens in due course.

All original items are included: the box, papers, soft pouch, original hood and lens caps.

I have the original receipt.

I am asking 255GBP which will include standard delivery from France. I will be visiting the UK on Nov 14th, so if you want a slight reduction, I can post the lens when I am there.

Payment by Paypal gift or by bank transfer to a UK account.

I will post photos asap, but please pm me if you are interested.

And lens received by my sister in the UK, in pristine condition as described (so she says)!

So, thank you Lloyd. I can't wait to get my hands on it in 3 weeks or so.

I have a lot of sympathy with that point of view, but unless we take photos purely to view them ourselves, other people's perceptions do matter. Thinking about this and the other thread, it strikes me that being 'true to life' is less important than plausibility / attractiveness. As long as the image is plausible, and attractive, it will be pleasing to other people. Sometimes you might improve the image by 'rebalancing' the colours. Alternatively you might alter the colours in a blatantly unrealistic way, which can be successful if it's artistically justified and / or attractive.
That's what I said.

I had a problem with my 55-300 and a UV filter. The lens would not focus.

My favourite place in the whole wide world (as far as I know) and my favourite mountain, Suilven!

Excellent set!
