Prefer the original myself. Something about the symmetry of the background and the lack of straight lines in the foreground in the second one jars a bit.

My S1a (not a million miles away from the SV) was my first film camera and kickstarted my obsession. Unfortunately I've lost a spring by fiddling with it one day, so the mirror now bounces after returning to its position. Still possible to use, just a tad annoying!

Ive got some marginally out of date Provia in the fridge I'm looking forward to dusting down in the summer. Always got on alright with Velvia, so looking forward to seeing how it compares.

I've just picked up the M-series 50mm 1.4 off ebay for a song.

I knew it had some fungus but at the price was happy enough to experience the lens and see what the fungus based images would look like.

Turns out though its more than the "light" traces of fungus in the advert.

Before I return it, thought I'd check to see if anybody out there fancied a clean up project and the chance to earn thirty quid or so?!
