As a result of some over enthusiastic (shall we say) purchasing in recent months I have ended up with a lot of perfectly decent lenses I simply don't need (and am struggling to store at home!)

This particular item is in excellent cosmetic condition.

The zoom is particularly pleasing, with a very solid feel and is nice and smooth.

The optics are free from fungus and scratches. Some very minor dust, but nothing that affects the image quality and still less than average for a secondhand lens.

I haven't done any extensive testing, but the reviews seem favourable, particularly at the price. I can't be sure what it is worth, but I'm selling more so it doesn't go to waste than to try and improve the bank balance.

Any takers at £40 (including postage within uk)?

Will put up some photos shortly...

Great little lens. Have one already and paid more than 40 quid for it! Get yourself a good deal.....

And don't be scared of MF if it's your first. Easier and more fun than you'd think!

What value are you putting on the 200mm?

Ebay has got two black copies with 50mm SMC A f1.7 sold in the past week for £42-£53 posted.

Looking at the silver copies they can go for as little as £10 for just the body, and between £30-£50 with the same lens.

I might be pursuaded to buy one off you! PM me if interested.
