You can't miss them when you go up the M40 before Oxford. We counted 17 along there a year or so ago on our way to Wales. Rob, it would take about an hour to get there for you, perhaps a little more, depending on the traffic. I've done Loughton to Oxford in an hour before, and you see the Kites from High Wycombe onwards.

Best place to go though is Gigrin Farm in Mid Wales.

There's some really good blog work there Dan, plus I may be asking for more details on your courses as well.
Thank you, and no problem, drop me a line whenever.

This is where my problem is, I read a magazine and it had a lens test, and I could see that the image was by far alot better on the pentax, and it got a really bad mark compared to the canon which was shocking bad. And I just thought what the hell.

We did a short trip to Vancouver Island, flying out of Seattle on a float plane - great views as we went up Puget Sound and across to Victoria (which is a lovely 'city').

I really liked Portland, and we did the coastal drive for a short distance, and visited Silver Falls (was relying on lifts with the friends we were staying with, apart from when we were on V.I.).

I mainly was using a Lubitel 166U at the time, so most of my shots were with a standard lens.

Others have reported 4-6 weeks I think. Are you talking about the current cashback offer (£50), or the one that finished at the end of January? (£30).

I tend to use a polariser, as it will increase the saturation of the foliage around the falls nicely too. To be honest, most waterfalls tend to be in fairly shady areas anyway, so the problem for you is more likely to be avoiding the cotton wool look if you don't like it.

Where in the Pacific NW are you going? I did Oregon and Vancouver Island some years ago, beautiful scenery and well worth the trip.

Well, for some reason IE (I have just loaded it on this PC to see why ...) has a problem with / ...

So, I have removed a couple of them and hopefully it should resolve it for IE users.

Have you thought about getting Firefox 3 installed?
Looks fine now.

I have Firefox and Opera installed, but for whatever reason always use IE7. Just what I'm used to I guess, and I quite like the way it works.

I have also put a space after OSL but you may find it does not do anything.
Indeed I do.

Sorry to have mentioned it again then when it's an IE problem.

Can get a bit confusing if the wind's blowing at an angle across the surface, so that any ripples are going diagonally.
