It looks the right shape for a 336, the horns are sligthly more rounded on a 335.

Only thing is, does that come with block inlays rather than dots? I'm guessing you can have what you want, but it's not listed as an option...

I went to a wedding on Saturday. The Canon using photographer was winding me up because he had the focus-confirmation beep switched on.

"Beep beep beep, beep beep beep, beep beep beep, click"

Wasn't the shutter/mirror noise that was intrusive.

I was thinking along the same lines as Cherrylicious, is Pete's head just nearer to the sound of his camera? Has he compared his K10D with the other brand side by side...?

Did the AF360 you had work okay?

I'm wincing at the thought of some of the comments you may get from others here...

It may come as no surprise that when I do eventually have to clean the sensor, it will be the Pentax kit I will be buying.

Really?

Half a dozen's still good! Mine's (the *istD, not the K10D) been filthy in the past, but it's worth bearing in mind if you're ever in the situation where you're shooting at small apertures with a plain coloured background - give the sensor a quick blast with a rocket blower beforehand, otherwise you may end up cloning spots from lots of shots.

The K10D certainly seems a lot less prone to dust so far.

Can see it if I copy the URL into a new window.

Think there's a dust spot dead centre, but well blurred due to the aperture. Could be wrong, but there's definitely a bit of a shadow there...

I used to test for dust by shooting a white wall in good light without a lens attached.
Dust shows up more at small apertures, so I would have thought that this test was less likely to show dust than with a lens attached. I'll have to try it.
