Seeing it on my CRT too, so I don't think it has anything to do with viewing angles and TFTs.

The problem with the aj link in my gallery is something I don't quite understand. It used to pop up you email program but has stopped working. I'll get on it and also put contact details in there somewhere.
That's the problem when a program lays out pages for you, they always seem to do something odd. Just a simple 'mailto' link should work, don't know why it would have come up with that thing.

The mtb-guiding one now works fine.

And while I'm here, WOAH!

As long as it's an option, not the default. Nothing (well plenty of things actually) I like less then when you're just examining a fine photo, and it suddenly changes to another one!

Ah right, I'm guessing you mean www.ba-joseph.co.uk/gallery then! There's no link to it from your post, so I just assumed it must have been one of the others, and as it couldn't have been the Photobox one...

You've got some nice shots on there, and it's obviously very simple to find your way about too. There's a little link that just says 'aj' bottom left, under the pics. This comes up with a 404 error for me. Other than that, every page I tried worked.

Will you expand it to include contact details, and how to buy prints?

Hi aj,

I'm guessing you mean the mtb-guiding one. There's still the problem on there with Internet Explorer where the links, which are in a frame I believe, open a window in that frame, so you can't really see what it's displaying.

Looks fine in Opera, but not in IE I'm afraid.

There are no affordable wide primes,......this has always been the problem. There is only the VERY expensive 14mm,...if you can find one as they are like the proverbial 'rocking horse sh*t'.
Haven't we been here before? Try SRS Microsystems, they have them in stock at £499. Certainly not cheap, but I wouldn't say VERY expensive. Certainly not when you compare to other systems. Canon 14mm at £1699 anyone?

A suggestion could be to crop some of the bottom off. Perhaps just below the power boat...I would do that
But then you loose that reflection...

I too use an old Graphire one - an A6 size. The mouse has given up the ghost (after about 5 years) but the pen and tablet are fine. It cost about £60 at the time, so I expevt it's probably comparable to the Bamboo, although I haven't looked.

Anything you get will be better than a mouse for doing selections, dodging and burning etc.

Well done Peter!

So far I have enlightened at least 5 people, including my oldest brother (K100D), three attendees to workshops (K100Ds and K10D) and my friend Martin (K10D). At the workshops I try not to be too pro-pentax, but it is hard. Hopefully I do it fairly tongue-in-cheek at least.

Well I was going to reply to Chris, but I'm not sure which bits of his post I agree with and which bits I don't. It was a broad brief this week, but from purely personal level, I thought I had it covered, and only put the caption 'Thursday night' on to indicate that it wasn't sunday night, when I posted the pic.

I chose a photo that I hoped showed I was at or doing something, with info about what it was in the photo, and I hoped it was presented in a pleasing fashion. I thought I was in with a very good chance of winning it, but in the end didn't even get placed.

Oh well, the toaster's just popped up.
