The main problem I can see is that for a good 70% of the filming I'd do a DSLR wouldn't be suitable. I need something small and lightweight, preferably cheap and reasonably robust. I wouldn't go sticking a K-x to my car windscreen for example, as I'd be worried about it breaking loose and then breaking. My PSP weighs so little that the suction cup more than copes.

Obviously you could just use a bigger mounting but I like to be able to see through my windscreen! The PSP mount sits right at the bottom so you only lose sight of part of the bonnet and the wipers, rather than the road.

I would still like a K-x mind, as I suspect that with a 300mm lens on would be great for filming wildlife, aircraft, etc.

If the lens is in good condition then that's a very good price - usually they seem to be around the £55-£65 mark for buy it now on ebay at the moment.

I've done similar things with a PSP camera and windscreen mount. Not broadcast quality but produces a very watchable video of off-road adventures.

I really wouldn't attach anything to the outside of the truck, as being covered in muddy water wouldn't do it any favours!

Thing is, some of them must be very rare. Not many genuine Pentax 28mm primes seem to have been sold (judging by the numbers now on ebay compared to, say, 50mm), and with that many variants there can only have been a handful of some of them.

I do get the impression that the 28mm f2.8 is more common as people wanted the faster lens. Now with digital we want more sharpness, so the f3.5 versions are becoming more sought after as the slower aperture doesn't matter so much with shake reduction.

Voted £25 then, as it's used I don't think it's fair to ask for a discount of the full price of a new hood (if that makes sense).

"Slow Young Lambs" is a regular around here. As is "Police Slow" - never been sure if that's a warning or an observation?

There's also a fixed signpost on a very minor road warning of ice. Now, I realise that this is a risk in winter but really, how much did it cost to install a full height concreted-in signpost and sign on a single track B road? The only people up there at that time of year are locals who're well aware of the ice, as they've probably dealt with a fair bit of it to get that far!

Depends on how much an official Pentax hood costs? I'd want the discount to reflect that. Yes you can get a cheap universal hood but I'd rather have the proper one.

I did find "No climbing and sliding on the funnel" on a ferry once. I was a bit bemused why they felt the need for such a specific sign!

Don't think I'll be going after all the variants - unless I see a 28mm f2 cheap (not going to happen really!) I'm sticking with the f3.5 when it arrives.

I think the Super Takumar is the same as the earlier K series version (which seems to be both rare and sought after), certainly that's the case with a lot of K series lenses. The M 28mm f3.5 has a slightly different design - 6 elements in 6 groups as opposed to the 8-7 design of the K series lens.
