When I was 17, I was sent to the Outward Bound Sea School In Aberdovey.
Where I took this image on my Ricohmatic 4x4 tlr.
Some time later, in the absence of an enlarger, I trimmed the neg. to fit in a 35mm. slide holder, put it in an Aldis slide projector, projected the image onto a 10x8 of paper & developed it, on a bedroom specially blacked-out fothe occasion.
Since when, it has lain dormant in the loft.....
We've recently moved!

The image shown is a scan of the original print, slightly adjusted.

What I want to say is...

The core of our efforts is not primarily technical excellence,


but the fixing of memories.

Pop up into your loft & I think you'll find the "best" photographs are those that make you & your family smile... &, perhaps, weep a little.

(as soon as I can add image.....)

Given the (attractive) price difference, what do you all consider to be the pros & cons of DA 55-300 vs. DAL 55-300? Optical quality, longevity of mount, etc.

SMC Pentax-M 50mm. f1.7
Tamron adaptall II 70-210 f3.8-f4

Any advise re fitting these to my K7 or comments on possible levels of quality would be much appreciated.

Looking at the Tamron 90mm. F2.8 SPDi Macro on the internet, I was surprised by the wide range in prices quoted. they range from average £350, upto £450, down to £275!

Any guidance re possible pitfalls associated with the lower/lowest prices on this lens would be appreciated.
