Lenses suitable for K7?

I have: Kiron 28mm. f2
SMC Pentax-M 50mm. f1.7
Tamron adaptall II 70-210 f3.8-f4

Any advise re fitting these to my K7 or comments on possible levels of quality would be much appreciated.

If it has a K-mount it will fit, it's a simple as that and you can get some adaptors like M42 screw-mount to the k-mount.

The Pentax M 50mm f/1.7 will work very well on the K7 but you need to use the K7 in manual mode but you can press the green button to preform a stop-down metering, it's like Av mode on command.

I don't know what mounts the other lenses are so I can't comment on that.

They will work with some limitation like that you can use only centre Af point for trap in focus and things like that and the metering might not work fully reliable and you might see some aberrations on your photo because the rear lens isn't coated.
But you can still make perfect photos with them so don't worry

Also there is a 1.5x crop view so your lenses will appear 1.5x longer then on film but don't forget focal length stays the same it's just that the view is more cropped.

As with all manual lenses you have to enable aperture ring control.
I believe the Kiron appears in KA version, if this is so, for that and the tamron, with a KA adapter, you can use any mode of the camera. The SMC-M will require that you use M mode.

I have the Vivitar version of Kiron's 28/2. It's a lovely piece of glass and I am very fond of using it.
The M50/1,7 is much appreciated so one really can't go wrong with using it.
Don't know much about tamrons, so can't really comment on that part.

Just remember, as edumad pointed out, to change your settings in custom menu for aperture ring to "permitted".
