Breaking news.

The fire brigade, have been put on high alert, as the motors in the shredders at “News International“, are over heating, and could burst into flames at any time.

Hi.

I would be happy if I could produce shots half as good as that, used to be able to in my film days, but cannot seem to crack this dam digital thing.
Actually , its probably an age thing, gets us all in the end.

Take care, and have fun with that 500mm.

I am relived to see that I am not alone, in not being able to work out how to use Silkypics.

Take care.

Hi Bernard.

I use “DNG” with my K10D, as I only have Adobe elements four. Have not been able to learn the correct use of that very well.
I also have a Panasonic LX3, that needs the Silky-Pics, to convert the raw files, which I think is the same for Pentax PEF. I find Silky-pics, impossible to get my head around.

So I stick with DNG, and struggle away, with Adobe.

Take care.

As with the other posts, I am unable to afford high end or even, very many items at a lower price, ( being retired). But that does not stop me reading what others have in equipment, and the results that is obtained from it.
So to anyone that has high end or copious amounts of equipment, please don’t stop, posting and showing the results from this equipment, because that gives me, and I am sure many others, enjoyment in its self.

My equipment K10D, with the two kit lens, plus a Sigma 10-20.
Plus my Spotmatic II, with 50mm & 35mm prime lens, which I purchased in 1974, (still works well).

Take care.

Rechargeable, “GP ReCyko”, from, Premier Ink & Photographic.
Better price than “Eneloop”, plus higher capacity.
Have used both, better service life from “GP ReCyko“.

Take care.

What a purchase John.

My advice to all, purchase all you need/can, before retirement.
As you will never be able to afford, it afterwards.

Trust me. (Retired old git).

The last time I visited the camera store that rhymes with “press - ups”, the display shelves were that thick with dust, I just walked straight out again. Not been back since.

Top tip, if you are visiting one of these stores, take a duster with you.

Take care.
