Do you know, Pete, I've been giving you the benefit of the doubt for a long, long time, now, as have many people here.

But I have to say, I'm thoroughly sick of the way you keep posting all these bad news threads, when mostly, the facts are anything but bad news. You seem determined to interpret any fact you half-hear in the worst possible way. I expect you'll find a way of blaming Pentax when you start trying out your Sigma flash unit next week, or whenever it is.

Honestly, if you made the slightest effort to put the tiniest amount of thought into the issues you raise as bad news, you might see things differently.

I can see there's going to be a lot of willy-waving on this and other threads soon...

Let's hope all these DA* lenses flush a few reasonably priced less stellar bits out on to eBay.

(I freely confess to an element of sour grapes, BTW - I'd love to be able to afford all this stuff. And I am genuinely pleased, naturally, that the supply of good lenses is happening.)

It's a splendid little camera. A bit past it these days, with a mere 5 MP, and the AF is a bit slow. But it does the job* when I need something small.

And the JPEGs are dead sharp, straight off the card...

* ironically mostly for video, as it happens
