It's quite difficult. At first, I just got pictures of road, then road with a back wheel, and finally some pics of complete bikes, in focus, and properly exposed.
Then just start shooting a second or so before they come past

It is a worry, that Pentax Japan put up a web page in English but don't get an English speaker to look it over first.

The Program A is a great camera, it was my first camera! Just the sight of it brings back fond memories!
They're responsible for the 3-4 thousand negs I'm plucking up courage to buy a scanner for.
Back to the subject of selling these items, do folk think I'd get more for them together, or separately, on eBay?

I've not run film through the Program A (I got it free with a lens), but everything seems to be doing the right thing, and the metering and shutter open times seem fine as far as I can measure them without specialist equipment.

Pics from other angles if you want them. The top two were edited for my older, darker monitor, so they look a bit harsh, and I'll be redoing them.
Anyone interested before I eBay them?

Not in the same league as Galoot, but does it work? C&C appreciated.
Visually it's more of a snap than a piece of art, but many good photographs are precisely that - they record a moment in time that's worth recording. God help us all if we lose sight of that.
And this picture does exactly that. Lots of stuff going on, the moment caught perfectly, the interest visible on all four faces.
It might benefit from a touch more contrast and sharpening, but it's just fine as it is.

And, once again, this is as a 'last resort' really, if the problem's been thrashed out online, but it needs some 'hands-on' to get it sorted. Hopefully by then, you'd have got a fair idea of what the person's like.
Joking apart, there's the potential for a lot of information sharing here, as well as help with an individual problem, so I hope this one has wings.

Hopefully, we might end up with a network of people covering much of the country, who can offer assistance when all other options have been exhausted.
I'd be up for this in principle.
Thinking about it, I'd probably only feel comfortable doing this with people I felt I'd 'got to know' online to a reasonable extent, and/or meeting up on neutral territory.
Possibly over-cautious, but sadly that's life these days.
Twenty minutes is often more than enough.

I think its owing to the way the focal plane shutter exposes the top part of your picture first and comes down to the bottom to finish, just like a narrow slit moving down, SO the bottom of the wheels have moved across the screen as the shutter has moved down.Regards.Spill.
It's only for exposures shorter than the flash sync speed that the trailing curtain follows the leading curtain more closely than that.
What I find puzzling is the strobed appearance of the wheels. If they were rotating smoothly during the exposure, I'd expect the holes in the hub caps to get smoothed out.
The only thing I can think of that might cause a strobing effect is the SR, but it seems a bit far-fetched to me.
