The one a day feature is to make sure that everyone gets a fair shot at exposure in the gallery. As it gains more popularity, this will soon be more apparent why the restriction is there.
Otherwise, you should be up-front about giving mag subscribers more exposure in the gallery than non-subscribers.
I don't have a particular gripe about whatever the policy is - that's your call, but I think you should be straight about what it is.

To be honest I just don't like making offers. At the end of the day the person selling has an idea in their head as to what they will accept so I would rather just know that from the beginning.
I've tried the 'make me an offer' approach when I've simply not known how much a couple of old lenses were worth - naively I imagined it would be a good way of finding out. I suppose it might be for items which are very much in demand.
But I think now it's better to just list things on eBay in that situation, or else just say what you want for it if you do have an amount in mind.

My lad Richard moved to Canon soon after buying the lens, he's never used it.

Chris A : How DO you link the Pentax User ID to the Forum then? I had a look at my Settings etc. but could not see any 'buttons'to link.
My membership expires at the end of the month. I could let it lapse and get back to you, but I suspect it'll be quicker to have a bit of a poke about and find it for yourself.
____________
Edit: check out My settings | Personal Info. There's an 'actions' section that might be the thing. It says 'Update My Subscription Details' for me, but it may be different if the app doesn't know you're a subscriber.
Or raise a report - I'm sure the PUT will help.

And the 80-320mm went for £150 plus postage
Please will you write my eBay ads from now on?

It's because you're not a PU subscriber (or if you are, you haven't linked your subscription ID to your forum one).

Why would anyone kill the beauty of a rainbow by making a monochrome picture of it? I believe most people, including Lilly, must admit that sometimes colour is justified.
But presumably, there were pictures of rainbows before colour film, and presumably some were better than others.
So firstly, I am genuinely interested to see what can be done, since I do admire good monochrome photography. And Lilly, as, IMO, the forum's principal exponent of the genre, would seem to me to be the ideal person to take up the challenge.
I'd confess to something of a subtext in my challenge, however, which is this:
There have been one or two, recently, that have implied that there's something inherently specially magnificent about black and white photography, and I've taken a counter position, arguing that mono is simply a compositional device for eliminating distraction. That it can be an extremely powerful one, I wouldn't dispute.
In that context, the rainbow must surely be the archetypal coloured photographic subject, and I have a sneaking doubt that black and white could ever do it justice in the same way that colour can - largely because nothing about the colours in the rainbow can to my mind be considered distractions.
But I'm open to being convinced otherwise, and I am genuinely interested in seeing any attempts.
